PEMBREE DBN is an entirely new seat post clamp. Due to the double barrel nuts DBN provides a consistent clamping force ensuring the bolt remains straight through-out its travel. This is particularly important when clamping dropper posts to prevent pitch points that damage frames and posts. These bearing cups are suited for installation of the THM Clavicula on frames with bottom bracket housings to BB30 standard applicable to axles with 30 mm diameter. The bottom bracket housing is 68 mm wide and its inner diameter is 42 mm. The snap rings wich for the BB30 standard are used as limit stop when pressing in the bearings, must not be installed. The relatively small bearing clearance of 68 mm could lead to considerable axle deformations. Our solution with bearings at the outside involves a reduced load on the axle which can be seen from the higher rigidity. Another advantage is the facility of using the same crank for frames to BB30 standard and those with BSA or Italian thread. The increase in weight of the complete system is neglegible. The “Clavicula DH” is the downhill version of our superlight racing crankset. Designed with additional reinforcements it is intended for the extreme demands of downhill racing: Even flying debris, crashes on rocky terrain or sliding along the ground can hardly hurt this crank. Thanks to intelligent design it is still light as a feather. The low weight of the “Clavicula DH” improves the overall handling of any DH bike. A lighter bike will always be more responsive to steering input and thus easier to control. At only 450 g for the complete crankset including the bottom bracket the “Clavicula DH” is much lighter than similar sets. Power transfer and longetivity satisfy the most demanding racer. The crank comes complete with a 38-tooth chainring and is shipped with bottom bracket and mounting tool.
