Details

The Brentwood hybrid bike is all about comfortable recreation. With high handlebars, a cushioned seat, and suspension seatpost you'll enjoy a plush, upright riding position that lets you take in the sights as you cruise. Alloy 700c road wheels and fast-rolling city tires transition from pavement to dirt paths with ease, and the 21-speed drivetrain gives you plenty of gearing for climbing hills or spinning across the flats.

    Comments:

I use this as my main mode of transportation to get around to the places I need to go, and this bike has yet to fail me! It is absolutely perfect for daily commutes, being extremely comfortable. It also has a little bit of speed to it (not like road bikes, but a good speed can still be achieved), and is also great for any unexpected rushes needed during commutes. This bike is also great for carrying loads - I carry a humongous rear basket set and as a result, this bike can haul! It really is worth every penny, and is one of the best investments you can ever make for bike commuting!

      Comments:

I use this bike most every day. I was impressed with the components that come with the bike and the Shamano Granny Gear that comes standard in 2010. The quick release rims are fantastic, the seat is so plush that it makes me wish the bike was self powered. You can't go wrong with this bike. Very solid! Makes a great work bike! Seat spring handles my near 200 lbs without bottoming out. Bike weighs in at 31 lbs. just in case you're curious.

My wife and I bought a pair of Brentwoods and couldn't be more satisfied! They're comfortable, they shift well and are very adjustable. So fun to ride in fact my wife started riding hers to work and it has nearly paid for itself in fuel savings!
