If you're looking for a versatile and comfortable road bike, check out Cannondale's Synapse Disc 5 105. This lightweight aluminum frame and carbon fork employ Save Plus shaping to provide a compliant ride that soaks up road buzz, while the endurance-oriented women's specific fit ensures hours of comfort and the slightly elongated wheel-base offer stability on descents. The Shimano 105 drivetrain and FSA crank provide easy, reliable shifting and a huge gear-range to tackle any road. Maddux wheels and Schwalbe tires roll easily and hold their speed, while Promax disc brakes keep you in control regardless of road or weather conditions. Cannondale's women's-specific cockpit lets you comfortably enjoy your ride for as long as you want. And, with rack and fender mounts, the Synapse can even pull double duty as a zippy, daily commuter.

Comments:
I looked for a long time at different makes and models and settled on this one before I even sat on it because of the quality of the components for he price and the raving online reviews. I wasnt going to be entirely sold however until I had my first ride. Well, it didnt even take that long, The minute I sat on this bike on the showroom floor I was hooked. I'm 5'0" on a good day and the 44cm bike was a more perfect fit than any other 44cm bike I had tried. I cant wait to get out on the open road...I'm planning on 5,000 miles this year with my new little bike!
