Great bike for road or trail. Definitely eye-catching, especially in the black. Perhaps too eye-catching actually, since I've had two stolen from me so far in different cities. Lock the heck out of it if you leave it alone for more than 30 seconds! Out of all the bikes in this price range, I keep replacing with this same one. Top notch.
Great hard tail 29'er. Bike is extremely well built, lightweight, and easy to ride. A great bike to get into mountain biking, or riding around the city. The 29 inch wheels ride so smoothly. It is definitely an eye catcher in its matte black paint scheme. Highly recommend this bike.
The only drawbacks I have found are the heavy, albeit sturdy, wheels and the stock seat. I like the Small Block 8's that come stock, but I think it is best to switch to more aggressive treads for serious offroad riding.
This is my second bike I bought from Bob in two weeks. Got my wife a Trek 4500 26" and it was so nice to ride I went back and bought this Cannondale 29er. Both have been just wonderful to ride!
