The best handling trail bike ever. The 5010 is not just "the little bike" of our range. It makes even the most mundane trails feel like they're loaded with features to hop, skip, and jump over. It's like having super-skills at your fingertips. The 5010 has always been more capable than many expected but with the traction-gaining 29-inch wheel up front and even more refined suspension, the 5010 gives you a deft touch on the trails. Design Details: - VPP™ VPP™ suspension can be optimized to strike the right balance between pedaling efficiency and all-out bump-chomping prowess. That means wherever you see "VPP™" you know it's tuned to perform exactly how it should for the purpose it's designed for. - 130mm VPP™ travel Some call it short travel, others call it all the travel you'll need. This much travel isn't going to help shrug off the biggest, fastest rock gardens like a V10 downhill race bike, but it's going to feel like you've got a V10 under the hood of your motor when it comes to freeway freestyling miles. - Traction and big hits For 5010, we wanted to balance support and grip to maximize the bike's descending and big-hitting capability. We started with a significantly less anti-squat (than the previous generation 5010) to provide sensitive, ground-tracking qualities and reduced pedal kick. - Support and playfulness We gave the 5010 a very straight, highly progressive leverage curve to give the rider plenty of predictable support, bottom-out resistance, and playful response. This means the travel is accessible and higher impacts aren't as jarring as you'd expect from a short-travel bike.

A downhill bike that goes everywhere. Seriously. The Megatower’s big wheels, long travel, and tough carbon fiber chassis deliver the high-speed security traits of a downhill bike. Yet the relatively steep seat tube angle and size-specific geo maintain the Mega’s mega pedaling ability—elevating its reputation as the perfect choice for big gravity rides and DH park laps. Design Details: - Glovebox Place everything you need for a ride beneath the reassuringly high-quality latch and panel in the downtube, including your driving gloves. The Glovebox also comes with a Tool Wallet and Tube Purse, two refined pouches for keeping your essentials close to hand. - Full carbon C and CC frame options While both versions of our carbon frames are made in our own factory, are just as strong and stiff as one another, and have a lifetime warranty, there are a couple of differences between the two. CC frames use the very best materials and production processes available, while our C frames add on a little more weight for a little less $. - Steeper seat tube angle The steep seat tube angle puts you in the right place to scale the steepest pitches to get to the wildest descents. Even better, it gets progressively steeper as the sizes get larger so everyone sits in the right spot. - 165mm of VPP™ travel A relatively low leverage ratio not only makes setup easier but delivers a more damped, controlled feel across the travel range. - Coil and water compatibility Even with a lower-link flip chip and the option to run large-body shocks, like a coil, you’re still able to fit a water bottle inside the front triangle. - Longer travel? 165mm of travel comes standard, but if you choose to run a shock with a longer, 65mm stroke, you can bump it up to 170mm. - Details matter The frame details are completed with a neat mud flap that protects the rear shock, a rubberized downtube protector that shrugs off strikes, and tidy cable routing within the frame and swingarm. - Proportional geo The Megatower's chainstay length is matched to the frame size so every rider, no matter their height, gets the same balanced geometry. - Full size range From size small to XXL, no one misses out on the Megatower.

From early pioneers like Rob Warner in the 1990s to world champions including Myles Rockwell (2000) and Danny Hart (2011), many of downhill racing's greatest legends have flown the flag for Giant over the years. This special-edition frameset celebrates that heritage with vintage Giant colors and design. Beneath the stunning paint lies cutting-edge DH design and technology including full-composite construction, an all-new Maestro suspension system, and ultra adjustability to tackle different types of DH terrain. KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS RACE-READY SUSPENSION A new Maestro rear suspension system, developed over several seasons of World Cup racing with Giant engineers and pro athletes, features 200mm of smooth, active travel for race-winning speed. The rear suspension is paired with a 203mm travel fork, providing superior confidence and control on the most extreme DH racetracks and trails. ULTRA ADJUSTABLE Three flip chips provide unprecedented adjustability. First, a three-position Maestro flip chip lets you dial in frame geometry for your riding style and terrain. Next, a new headset flip chip adjusts reach so you can easily achieve perfect positioning. And finally, a rear dropout flip chip lets you adjust the overall wheelbase and handling characteristics. REAR WHEEL OPTIONS Choose either a 29-inch or 27.5-inch rear wheel. Frameset can be built with a mixed wheel "mullet" setup that many racers prefer with the smaller rear wheel creating a snappy, agile feel and increased saddle-to-tire clearance in the rear. For those who favor the rollover speed and stability of two 29-inch wheels, you can easily swap out the rear wheel. HIGHLIGHTS: Thoroughly reengineered from the ground up, the new Glory Advanced features a lightweight, super strong composite frame, 200mm of Maestro rear suspension (with a 203mm fork up front), and multiple flip chips to dial in geometry, rear wheel size, fit and positioning. The stock setup is a mixed-wheel configuration with a 29-inch front and 27.5-inch rear, striking a perfect balance of roll-over speed and maneuverability. Riders also have the option to switch to a 29-inch rear wheel using a simple two-position flip chip on the rear dropout. The legend is back. ADVANCED COMPOSITE Mainframe and rear swingarm crafted with high-performance grade raw carbon fiber and custom resin that's custom made in Giant's own composite factory. Handcrafted monocoque construction makes it extremely lightweight, stiff and compliant. MAESTRO SUSPENSION Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail. ADVANCED FORGED COMPOSITE A state-of-the-art high-pressure molding process is used to produce the hybrid aluminum/carbon fiber upper rocker link that's lighter, stiffer and stronger than pure aluminum. ADJUSTABLE DH GEOMETRY Frame geometry can be adjusted between three settings to match riding style and terrain. You can select a 61.6, 62 or 62.3-degree head angle and corresponding 78.4, 78.8, or 79.1-degree seat tube angle, resulting in a 13, 8 or 3mm bottom bracket drop (size M/L). ADJUSTABLE WHEELBASE A flip chip on the rear dropout can be set to a Long or Short position to adjust the wheelbase and rear-center measurement. The Short position results in quicker, more agile handling for tight, technical terrain. The Long position extends the wheelbase for added stability on faster trails with longer straightaways and high-speed cornering. REACH ADJUST A three-position flip chip at the headset lets riders quickly dial in cockpit dimensions and geometry. This modular system has two positioning chips that can be removed and swapped to achieve a Short (-5mm), Mid (0mm) or Long (+5mm) reach and fine-tune the bike's handling and rider positioning. REAR WHEEL OPTIONS Riders can choose either a 29- or 27.5-inch rear wheel, paired with a 29-inch front wheel. The larger 29-inch option improves stability and roll-over capabilities, while the 27.5 option delivers a more agile, snappier feel. It's a quick and easy change to adjust the bike's handling and feel. MEGADRIVE A massive rectangular down tube and oversized top tube provide superior lateral and torsional steering precision. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped down tube yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness.

The Trail Bikes that Love to Play The Juliana Furtado has always been more capable than many expected. But now with a high-traction 29-inch wheel up front, a maneuverable 27.5-incher out back, and even more refined suspension, their touch is even more deft on the trails. Featuring a 140mm fork and 130mm of VPP rear suspension travel, Furtado was made for sporty performance.

Reach New Heights When the TR beckons you to traverse above tree line and into unmarked territory, the Joplin is ready to take you there. With its 120mm of VPP travel and 29-inch wheels, it's the ultimate climbing partner to help you reach any summit. And when it's time to point downhill, its head tube angle and slack geo will navigate the most rocky terrain. Whether you're out on a solo adventure or a soul-lifting ride with friends, the Joplin will let you soar to new heights. SRAM Eagle Transmission - stronger, better shifting, wirelessly The next generation SRAM Eagle Transmission spec'd on our CC-carbon models is a radically robust, fully integrated, and interdependent wireless transmission. Built around the universal constant of the wheel axle itself, the hangerless attachment mounts directly to the frame for a stronger connection and the derailleur provides unprecedented reliability in case of impact. Shifting under load is made possible due to a combination of X-SYNC technology and cassette mapping, creating seamless shifts even during your hardest power output. The new AXS Pods are ergonomic and customizable, so shifting gears is light and intuitive. It's simply the most advanced transmission and nearly as tough as you are. Fit for smaller riders: Proportional Geometry and frame stiffness tune Chainstay length and seat tube angle are matched to the frame size (STA steepens and rear center grows as frame size increases) so that every rider, no matter what height, gets the same balance of geometry and handling characteristics. We tailor stiffness for every size to make sure every rider gets the same ride quality. We take out carbon material as the sizes get smaller where less stiffness is needed. Smaller riders require less reinforcement on frames, and that's remedied with our size-specific frame stiffness tunes.

Go Wilder Saving weight means little without retaining an appropriate level of stiffness and responsiveness too. So we've taken all the acceleration and out-of-the-saddle sprint qualities of a carbon XC race rocket and fused them with a rear-end that still rails corners like a hardcore TR bike. This unique XC-TR attitude is also reflected in the geometry. The head tube angle (67.1 degree) and reach (425mm) is a little steeper and shorter than a Joplin to meet the demands of aggressive climbing, yet the Wilder's seat tube angle is a touch slacker and the chainstays a little longer than a Joplin too in order to retain that familiar Juliana confidence on descents. And talking of chainstays, each chainstay length is specific to the individual frame size; meaning riders of every height enjoy the same handling and performance no matter what. Beyond the details, there are some bigger features that amplify this XC wild child's abilities. Rapid rolling 29-inch wheels are paired with a 120mm fork to tame the feral lines and smooth the sketchiest of passing maneuvers. There's even room for two water bottles within the front triangle for bigger training and racing days. SRAM Eagle Transmission - stronger, better shifting, wirelessly The next generation SRAM Eagle Transmission spec'd on our CC-carbon models is a radically robust, fully integrated and interdependent wireless transmission. Wide open, dawn to dusk. The Highball is our race-bred XC hardtail. When the trail (or the competition) calls for the direct drive efficiency that only a hardtail can offer, the Highball is the choice. It looks straightforward but that belies the high-tech features and design hidden within. This is a modern take on the simple machine that many still choose to put battery acid in their thighs and fire in their lungs in order to conquer something. Whether you’re chasing medals, personal demons, or just some riding buddies, this is a hardtail you’ll be happy to log long hours upon. Hard on the throttle, soft on the body Hardtails are about as subtle as bikes come, and in the case of the Highball, simplistic refinement belies engineering effort. We’ve learned from our road biking pals that a great deal of a hardtail’s compliance comes from the Seatpost: the smaller the diameter, the softer the feel, and with more seat posts exposed to daylight, more compliance is had— which is the reason the Highball features low slung top tube and the smaller, 27.2mm diameter post. But you need not be sitting to recognize the ‘soft’ feel of the Highball— the dropped seat stays are made of custom laminate, finely tuned here in Santa Cruz for vertical compliance— and they’re oriented to isolate the top tube from high-speed trail chatter, reducing feedback to the, uh, engine.

We tailor stiffness for every size to make sure everyone gets the same ride quality. Bigger riders means greater stresses on larger frames, but that's remedied with our size-specific frame stiffness tunes.
